As proud owners of Bagel Café, our family has always believed that a great meal is about more than

just food—it’s about bringing people together, supporting one another, and strengthening our community.

Like so many of you, we’ve felt the impact of rising costs everywhere—at home, in our business, and in the lives of our customers. The cost of essentials, like eggs—our number one ingredient—has skyrocketed, with the average dozen in California reaching $9.17.

Then came the devastating fires, leaving an even greater toll on our neighbors and friends. It has been a tough road for all of us.

So, we asked ourselves: How can we respond? How can we make a difference?

Our answer is simple: By giving back.

For over three decades, our goal has been more than just running a business—it’s been about creating a place where people feel at home. And now, in this challenging time, we want to stand by our community the way you’ve stood by us.

Starting Feb 19, 2025, we are rolling back prices on over 15 of our most beloved items—including our egg sandwiches—to what they were 20 years ago. That means, Monday, Wednesday and

Friday, you can enjoy two fresh eggs, melted cheddar or Swiss, and one of our award-winning jumbo bagels for just $3.95! In addition, each day of the week we will have a theme from our incredible melts, to enormous sandwiches, to smoked salmon specials at 20 years-ago prices. And to make things even easier, we’re also reducing online prices by 10% (as much as we can while covering labor costs).

But to make this work, we need your help.

Here’s how you can support this effort and keep it going until graduation week in June:

1. Spread the word – Tell your friends, family, and co-workers. Bring them in to enjoy a great

meal at a price that helps during these tough times.

2. Come often – The more transactions we have, the more sustainable this becomes. We’re okay breaking even, but we want to make sure we can keep our employees working and our doors open.

3. Support us on weekends – Only if you’re able, consider visiting us on Saturdays and Sundays when our prices remain at normal levels, or purchasing our other non-discounted items during the week.

Our commitment has always been to serve our community, and we believe that together, we can navigate these tough times. We are endlessly grateful for your support, and we hope this initiative brings a little joy and relief to your day.
